Instagram Content Creation Tips

Monday

Inspire. You know how Mondays are. People are readjusting to their weekly schedule, whether that’s work, school, or working from home. Inspire them with aspirational content, such as travel photos, OOTDs, or beautiful interiors, depending on your niche. If you’re a product-based business, show your product in context, without pushing to sell it.

Tuesday

Educate. Teach your audience about your brand or your industry. Go behind the scenes of the production process. These day-to-day things may seem obvious to you, but they’re new and interesting for people outside of your niche. Educational posts add value, which is something everyone yearns for.

Wednesday

Engage. Tell a story – your personal story, your brand story, a product story – and invite people to join the conversation. Make it relatable and as personal as you’re comfortable with, and ask a question at the end.

Thursday

Sell. You’ve been building up to this all week, now push you product or service! If your audience engaged with your previous post, the algorithm will most likely show them this post, too.

Friday

Inspire/educate. Now take a step back and see how you can serve your audience. Depending on your niche and what your audience likes, go for another inspirational or educational post.

Saturday

Entertain. It’s the weekend again, people are chilling on their phones. Instead of being a faceless brand, show your humanity. Post that meme, engage with your audience.

Sunday

Take a break. Engagement is notoriously low on Sundays, and you can take the day off. Or you can use this time to create content for next week!
